Our Parish - Parish Funds - Relief Fund

In recognition of Blessed Mother Teresa, who served the poorest of the poor and who recognized God's presence among the poor.

PURPOSE AND USE:
The Relief Fund was established to help those in need within the St. Francis community, as well as the community-at-large. Through your donations, we are able to help families who may encounter crisis situations (i.e. loss of work, no health insurance, help with utilities, etc.). The Church has established a relationship with LOVE, Inc. and MAP (Mission for Area People) who help determine the needs of individuals. A portion of the Lent Rice Bowl collections are also used to support this Fund.

CRITERIA:
A person requesting assistance must contact LOVE, Inc. or MAP directly. They will evaluate the need and contact the church directly if assistance is needed.
