Our Parish - Parish Funds - Education Scholarship Fund
In recognition of Father Louis B. LaPres, who demonstrated his love for Catholic education and Saint Thomas Aquinas who is the patron saint of academics, Catholic schools, colleges and universities, learning, scholars, students and theologians.

PURPOSE AND USE:
The Education Scholarship Fund was developed to help families with Catholic education. Father LaPres was the third pastor at St. Francis, as well as principal at Muskegon Catholic Central High School and an avid supporter of Catholic education. This Fund was developed to support the Church's mission of a faith-based education.
CRITERIA:
A person requesting assistance must be a GMCS student with a maintained grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a good discipline record; must demonstrate financial need; be a registered parishioner at St. Francis de Sales Parish, and demonstrate a strong personal Catholic faith based on their behavior and activities.
