Mandy and Mike Fort

Both Mike and Mandy graduated from Ludington High School, in Ludington Michigan.  Mike joined the Army after graduation, and spent 3 years in active duty and 5 years in the Michigan National Guard.

Mandy and Mike both graduated from Northern Michigan University.  Mandy holds a degree in social work and is a Children’s Trauma Specialist at Every Woman’s Place in Muskegon.  Mike holds a degree in History and Law Enforcement.  He completed the Police Academy at NMU, and now works for the Muskegon Police Department as a patrol officer.  Mandy has been involved in youth ministry on a volunteer basis since she was 19.  She is excited that God has called her to St. Francis to take on an active role in the youth ministry program. Mike is involved with youth ministry as often as he can be, and is the parish Virtus Coordinator, which helps to ensure the safety of our youth. 

Mike and Mandy have been working on a Youth Ministry Certification from CYMD.  They have been married for 5 years, and are ridiculously proud parents of two calico kittens, Sammako and Tulang.
