Kim graduated from Orchard View High School in 1984 and completed her education from Muskegon Business College with an Associates Degree as an Administrative Assistant.

Kim and her family live in Muskegon. She is married to David and they have been blessed with three children, Sara, Jacob and Jeremiah. The family attends Trinity Lutheran Church in Roosevelt Park.

Kim joined the St. Francis family in November 1998. Kim enjoys family activities, walking and reading. She loves the variety of her work duties and being able to work with all the committees and parishioners of St. Francis de Sales Church.
